So what happened at the Twilight Tri ???
Hey thanks for asking - you reminded me that I haven’t yet posted about it, lol! Raced last Saturday, got busy with work trying to fit everything in before leaving on vacation this past Thursday! The race was great - it is more bearable without the sun, for certain! It was a .25 swim, 10mi bike and 3.1mi run standard sprint. Completed it in 1:21:04, which I was really happy with at first, but then I compared my times to my first Tri and even though I shaved about 3 mins off total time, I did very pale on my swim. I know being sick for 3 wks had a little to do with it, but frankly, I simply didn’t train as hard for this one. I am back in a group training for one in October which I plan to kick butt on!
