Posted by boardgrl SwimAfter two weeks sick with a respiratory infection, I am finally starting to get back on track. Started with a swim, but didn’t get far - only did 400yds. Could I have lost that much endurance in two weeks? Probably still a little weak from being sick, will keep pushing through it and get back on track. Next Tri is in 12 days and I’m sunk if I can’t get back to at least where I was two weeks ago.

I am glad to see that you are back. I was starting to think you were dead or something. hope that you are feeling better.
LOL, not dead yet - dead in the water maybe! Feeling a little better now, though, I logged 3.5 miles on the treadmill yesterday and did a little biking early this morning. It’s been raining/lightning like mad here making it tough to do outdoor work.

you are so wise beyond your years! ok so as far as our bike ride goes saturday is a little crazy for me so we could meet at 6am (I have to be back at the Y by 8 for metabolic testing) or i could do after noon on saturday or we could try sunday morning. not sure if you’re the church goin family? let me know what you think.
p.s.- lets aim for a swim sometime between now and the 26th. this weather makes training outdoors REALLY difficult.
